The Fabled Stitches story began on July 16, 2024, with a mission to deliver exceptional, small-batch craftsmanship to customers across the United States. Operating out of our dedicated studio in Oakland, Maryland, we have meticulously built our brand around the values of durability, unique design, and customer trust.
Whether you are shopping from our curated collections of Bags & Purses, Home & Desk Decor, Jewelry & Hair Accessories, or Keychains & Bag Charms, every item is handcrafted with care. Because we manage every step of the process in-house, we stand firmly behind the integrity of our products. Our Return and Refund Policy is designed to protect your investment in artisanal goods while ensuring a fair and transparent experience for our community.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date your order was delivered to initiate a return or exchange. We encourage you to inspect your handcrafted items upon arrival to ensure they meet your expectations.
2. Condition of Items
To be eligible for a full refund, items must be in their original, new, and unused condition. As our items are handcrafted in small batches, we ask that you return them in the same state they were received to maintain the quality of our inventory.
3. Return Shipping Costs
- Defective or Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged or defective (for example, a broken charm or a leather defect), we will provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you.
- Customer Remorse: For returns due to a change of mind, personal preference, or accidental order, the customer is responsible for the actual cost of return shipping.
4. Fees
- Restocking Fees: We do not charge any restocking fees ($0.00).
- Return Fees: There are no additional processing fees for returns.
5. How to Start a Return
To begin the return process, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at contact@fabledstitches.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Once your request is approved, we will provide you with the specific return shipping instructions and the return address.
- Securely pack your item to prevent damage during transit and mail it to our studio:

6. Refunds and Processing Time
- Refunds: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card issuer may take additional time to post the transaction to your account.
- Exchanges: If you would like to exchange an item for a different piece, please get in touch with us. Exchanges are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days of us receiving your return.
Order Cancellation Policy
We begin preparing your handcrafted items shortly after an order is placed. If you wish to cancel:
- Window: You must request a cancellation by 5:00 PM EST on the day of purchase (or the next business day if ordered after hours/weekends).
- Post-Shipment: If your order has already been handed to the shipping carrier, it can no longer be canceled. You may, however, follow our standard return policy once the item arrives.
- Fees: There are no cancellation fees ($0.00).
